Week 5: Mayflower and Pilgrims, Stars, Constellations

The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy for me, so, I'm a week behind in blogging about our week. So, this will be an abbreviated look at Week 5!
Here are the books and movies we used.

We made the Pilgrim Shape Book found here and did the Oiled Window Activity seen here.

Dario also completed several projects from the book, "The Pilgrims, the Mayflower, and More."

We continued our study of the Stars and Constellations, much to Dario's delight! He enjoyed several movies from our local library and making a Milky Way out of glitter

and a Big Dipper out of marshmallows and toothpicks!

We finished reading "Squanto" together as a family - and will now be moving on to "The Courage of Sara Noble". We all really enjoyed "Squanto" and has been a great way to end each evening!
